HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

I am based in Tweed Heads and travel anywhere between Brisbane and Byron Bay.

WHERE IS THE TRIAL LOCATION?

We will meet for our trial at Maverick Hair & Art.

First Floor, 1/17 Griffith Street, Coolangatta QLD.

Please allow 1.5 hours per trial

HOW LONG SHOULD I ALLOW FOR HAIRSTYLING ON THE WEDDING DAY?

I usually allocate 1 to 1.5 hours for the bride and 45 mins to 1 hour per bridesmaid/mothers/guests depending on styles and if extensions are required.

WHAT ARE THE USUAL PROCESSES ON A WEDDING MORNING?

Your morning will be full of pampering and fun times. Your photographer would usually arrive 1 1/2hrs prior to the ceremony to get pre-ceremony pics of your dress/accessories and getting ready with your bridal party. I will stay around to touch up hair once your dressed and fit veil (if applicable) 

WHAT IS YOUR MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PEOPLE FOR STYLING ON A WEDDING DAY?

My packages accommodate up to 6ppl. 

ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO START BEFORE 6AM?

If your styling service starts before 6am, an early morning fee may apply.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES AFTER ACCEPTING THE BOOKING?

Any changes 2 months prior to the wedding day cannot be made. Additional services can always be added at a later date. If you are unsure about a particular person, please exclude these from your enquiry.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

The total cost of the booking is paid over 2 payments. 

1. A $400 non-refundable/non-transferable booking fee is required to secure your wedding day. 

2. Your balance payment is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding day. 

DO YOU RECOMMEND HAIR EXTENSIONS?

I recommend hair extensions for most down styles and some up styles. Zala extensions are great quality and excellent with customer service with a three day maximum wait for purchase of extensions. On the Zala website you will find an online colour match option, lots of colour range and length options also. 

How do I prep my hair for the Trial/Wedding?

-Naturally straight / smooth hair-

  • Wash and air dry the hair the day before or morning of, if you feel your hair works better a few days old please do so.

  • Complete 2 cleansing shampoos and apply minimal conditioner mid length to ends only. Rinse really well.

  • PLEASE DO NOT STRAIGHT IRON.

-Naturally frizzy/curly hair for straight styles-

  • Wash and professional round brush blow dry hair 1-3 days before.

  • Complete 2 cleansing shampoos and apply minimal conditioner mid length to ends only. Rinse really well.

  • PLEASE DO NOT STRAIGHT IRON.

-Naturally frizzy/curly hair for a natural curly style-

  • Wash and air dry the hair the day before or morning of, if you feel your hair works better a few days old please do so.
